Fine Arts Careers
If a career in fine arts is what interests you, possible job opportunities might include working in a shared studio, on a historic site, or for school or community art programs. Many fine artists are self employed and aspire to sell their work to galleries, museums, and individual collectors and consumers. Careers in the fine arts require talent, dedication, flexibility, creativity, and a little bit of luck.
Art Museums & Galleries
Your art degree could also land you a job in an art museum or gallery. Many art school graduates find work in education, administration, curatorial, conservation, archivist, tour guide or management positions within galleries and museums. There are also employment opportunities in:

Commercial Arts Careers
Art school graduates could also find work in the commercial arts industry. This would include graphic design, computer graphics, illustration, and advertising positions. Education
Teaching art is another possibility for art school graduates. Art teachers, depending on their level of education, can work in schools from the elementary level to the university level.
